2023: Endorse Peter Obi or I Will Resign My Membership From RCCG, Man Says!
Endorse Peter Obi, or i will resign my membership from RCCG says a twitter user.
2023 is such a peculiar for Nigerians within and outside the state. It is so because of the general elections which will happen in no time. There are so many controversies surrounding who will or will not win the general elections. This is especially for those who are nominees for the presidential seat.
Everyone in the country is throwing in their weight behind their most preferred candidate. All over the country, the masses have shown their support for Mr Peter Obi. Mr Peter Obi is the flag bearer of the labor party.
A user on Twitter has issued a threat to take back the sound and lighting facilities he donated to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) if the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, does not endorse Peter Obi, the presidential nominee of the Labour Party ahead of Saturday’s election. Obi is running for the position of president for the Labour Party.
A user on social media(Twitter) who goes by the handle @jnr lambo posted the following message: “I want to categorically state that if you remain silent in this existential and defining elections of Nigeria until election day and don’t make your stand known I will arrogantly resign my membership and I will take with me the sound equipment and lighting I donated. Thank you for your time.”
If Pastor Adeboye does not endorse Peter Obi in 2023, I will resign my membership from the RCCG and take back my donation, this member has said that he will do so.
“I cannot serve God within a congregation of hypocrites. I have written to the church several times to let them know that the body of Christ deserves brave men who will stand up for the truth, not this drama that you are displaying. What is the use of the political department that you rushed to create during primaries? “I cannot serve God within a congregation of hypocrites.”
“I repeat, I will be partying away from the RCCG if they choose to keep mute during these elections. The existence of the church is being threatened, and nothing is being said. Really?”
